Positioned on the edge of a quiet hamlet, the pretty stone built cottage enjoys views over the surrounding Limousin countryside, and has a generous size garden for those who enjoy being outdoors. The cottage retains its period character and charm with the original bread oven, beams and two log burning stoves plus electric heaters. There is a cosy lounge with dining area, a separate living room, kitchen and ground floor shower room with w.c; with two good size bedrooms: the Master Bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom and a Family Room with two double beds plus a single bed. The garden has sun loungers, dining table and chairs and barbecue. Attached to the property is a barn where you will find 4 adult bicycles and 2 teenage bicycles along with table football, badminton set, tennis rackets and boules. There are three villages within 6 km, with restaurants, convenience store, boulangeries and more. A super base to explore the region with the towns of St Junien and Rochechouart close by and the city of Limoges only a 30 minute drive as is the Martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane with its centre de la mémoire. Further restaurants can be found in the towns of St Junien and Rochechouart. Bread Oven Cottage is situated in the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park, a short drive south takes you into the Dordogne, with beautiful places to visit such as Brantôme and Périgueux or venture west into the Charente Department to the city of Angoulême or the famous brandy producing town of Cognac. There is so much to see and do close by, a great place for walking, cycling, golf, tennis and of course boules, with many swimming lakes, outdoor and indoor swimming pools close by along with restaurants, boulangeries plus convenience stores in the surrounding villages.
