CASA This property is situated in a relaxed agricultural village, Fanadia, which combines the tranquility of a rural setting with easy access to beaches and a variety of cultural and sport activities. The Villa sits on private grounds with spacious landscaped gardens. Casa easily accommodates 2 persons. Private car parking is on the property itself. A separate building houses a game room with a small pool table, table football and a BBQ. This building also contains the laundry facilities. The DVD library is here and so is a large selection of novels in various languages. Internet is free in the common BBQ building Ten minutes away in the town of Caldas da Rainha you will find all the amenities you could possibly wish for: open air fruit and vegetable market, excellent restaurants, cafés, hospitals, post office, supermarkets and the wonderful daily fresh fish market. This area, Silver Coast, boasts wonderful beaches. Some sit in a bay and are ideal for families with small children while others offer surf caliber waves. Also close by are 3 gold courses within a 30 minute drive, one of which, Praia del Rey, is a championship golf course. Many places of cultural and historical interest are within a 50 kilometer radius such as Obidos – Peniche – Nazaré – Mafra – Fatima. If you wish to drive a bit further you can visit Lisbon - Sintra – Cascais – Coimbra and without a doubt the beautiful city of Porto! The property is a 55 minute drive from Lisbon Airport, from Porto Airport a 3 hour drive and from Faro a 3.5 hour drive. Car rental is essential although public transportation is available in the village.
