Cottage With Large Pool And Peaceful Garden

Situated in a small, very secluded garden, bounded to the south by the 11 x 5 metre solar-heated pool, this is one of two charmingly restored cottages, set in the owners' grounds of some 7½ acres. One may rent either (or both for 4 pers - see pricing notes) but the cottages are NEVER LET SEPARATELY TO DIFFERENT PARTIES, so privacy is assured. It comprises a mezzanine bedroom, living/dining area, covered south-facing patio, kitchenette, shower & separate WC, and is situated on the edge of the village of Feillens (shop, café-restaurants etc all within about 500m). The two cottages are NOT let separately to different parties (usually one will sit empty), thus allowing for complete peace & privacy - although the owners, a retired French couple, may very occasionally swim briefly in the pool. A short way to the southwest lies Macon (7km), famed for the many vineyards which grace its rolling countryside. Slightly closer by is St Laurent-sur-Saône, where one may dine with enchantment as the sun sets over the Saône and Macon beyond. The magical town of Cluny is about 30km to the northwest.
