Great swimming oportunities with sandy beach and large, shared pier with boat place. If you like to go fishing, the place is spot on, and you can catch both cod, mackerel, sea trout and flounder. There is good fishing both from land and boat. Walking distance to both the sports grounds, the playground and the grocery store from the holiday apartment. The surroundings are amazing with National Tourist Routes and Folgefonna National Park nearby. If you want to go hiking, there are good hiking opportunities in beautiful nature with Fuglafjell with its 1344 meters above sea level as the highest mountain. A short drive to Norheimsund with shops, restaurants, Steinsdalsfossen and the "Fartøyvernsenteret". Day trips to Bergen with its famous pier, fish market and aquarium are recommended. Driving along the Hardangerfjord and a visit to Baroni Rosendal 1665 and Folgefonna Center, both an hour away, are worth experiencing. Also visit Jondal Summer Ski Center on Folgefonna glacier (may to Aaugust). It is possible to rent a smaller boat by prior arrangement with the house owner. Nearest neighbor: N19165.
