In a magnificent setting surrounded by woods on extensive secluded grounds, you will find this peaceful and elegant holiday home, dating from the 18th-century, the property is large and spacious with lots of character. In the grounds you will be able to enjoy a large heated (when the outside temperature is 18°c or higher) swimming pool and an all weather surface tennis court. The house has huge fireplaces, a lovely rustic kitchen with original stone tiled floors. This is an exceptional holiday property and is situated a few miles from the town of Cubjac. Close by is the river Auvézére which has a beach and offers the chance for a spot of canoeing for the more adventurous types. The town of Périgueux is less than half an hour's drive and is full of shops, cafés and restaurants offering free evening concerts as well as a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Horse riding can be found nearby in Cornille, we would advise you to not miss a visit to the gardens of the Château of Hautefort.
