Holiday apartment in Altafulla Playa-Tarragona. Altafulla Beach is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Altafulla is a medieval town on the Catalan coast 10 minutes from Tarragona, and one hour from Barcelona, with a magnificent Beach in the area of Botigues de Mar, its Typical Paseo still retains some of the houses of the old fishermen. HOW TO GET: CAR: Exit 32 of the AP7 motorway and with direct link to the A7 motorway. AIRPLANE: Reus Airport 20 minutes away, BCN El Prat Airport 45 minutes away. TRAIN: The high-speed train station is 20 km away, with trains every hour in the direction of Barcelona (30 ’), Madrid (2 h 45’) and Seville (4 h). Altafulla also has a stop for the conventional train line that connects it with the center of Barcelona every 30 minutes in less than an hour; with Tarragona, in five minutes, and with Port Aventura and Salou, in 30 minutes. BY BUS: regular lines to Barcelona with the company Planas, and to Lleida and Zaragoza with the company Hife. Line 9 of the Tarragona city bus also runs through the Aiguamolls del Gaià stop (from Altafulla to the Roman circus and the walls of the Imperial Tarraco), as well as the El Penedès bus line, in the direction of Tarragona, Salou and Port Aventura.
