La Sagerie is a beautifully renovated, cosy farmhouse set in over an acre of orchard and garden in a peaceful rural location. Rated *** by the Tourist Board. There are fine views over the surrounding countryside. The house is electrically heated for the winter and has a wood-burning stove to make it warm and cosy. It is just over a mile from the centre of Brécey town, with its shops, bars, restaurants and a thriving Friday market. The Information Pack for visitors gives details of some excellent restaurants nearby. English tv, cd and dvd players and iPod dock enable your enjoyment of your favourite entertainment. WiFi is provided free. The caretakers are English. On the first floor there are 3 double rooms [one with a king-sized bed] and a bunk room with en-suite shower. There is a separate shower room/wc on the first floor and a wc on the ground floor. 2 twin rooms [one with en-suite shower and wc] and a bathroom with wc are on the second floor. The spacious ground floor accommodtion consists of a large sitting room (with television) and this communicates with the kitchen/dining area. The sitting and dining areas have plenty of seating for 12, but we are frequently visited by small parties of two, who like the openness and peace of this rural property. There is a washroom/wc on the ground floor and a washing line in the garden. Outside there is a patio with dining table and barbecue, while children love to picnic on the extensive grass areas and to play hide-and-seek in the grounds. A goal is provided so that the kids can practice their football.
