There are 2 further terraces in the large garden, one elevated wisteria covered, the other hidden away overlooking the stream and countryside. Whilst the nearest small bar restaurant is a 20 minute walk away, there are many restaurants within a 10 minute drive towards Chateauneuf-sur-Charente or Jarnac overlooked by Courvoisier chateau. Both towns have full services with choices of supermarkets or more traditional French produce markets. No doubt when you return from these you will appreciate the ample parking at the front door!
