This farmhouse, built in 1881, lies 1/2 mile from Lake Nockamixon. The property is astounding; filled with tremendous boulders dropped by glaciers. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in this area of Bucks County which is ninety minutes from New York City and one hour from Philadelphia. Kayaks and motor boats can be rented, sailboats and inflatables are available or you can bring your own boat to launch. There's horseback riding, biking, hiking, enjoying quaint Quakertown or just "being" in this exquisite environment. Explore "The Lost River Canyon" which is just twenty minutes away in Hellertown. The farmhouse sits on 4 acres of wooded, secluded paths. It has 6 twin beds and a queen-size bed in the master bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. The dining room table can accommodate eight. A heated/cool spa is offered for those so inclined to soak. A single-car garage has been transformed into a Loft with a ping pong table, exercise equipment, Foosball table and a surfeit of sports equipment. There is a wood-burning stove for a warm and cozy atmosphere. The TV and VHS movie library is available. There is also a large sofa in the Loft.
