The Lodge is a typical French Farmhouse with original features and plenty of character. Very Family friendly with enclosed grounds and heated swimming pool. Free WIFI. Travel cots and high chairs available if needed, please request. There is a separate games room that contains table tennis, table football and darts. There is a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge downstairs along with the shower room and toilet. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs, 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms plus 1 bunk room. Outside in the private enclosed garden is the heated swimming pool for private use, a sunbathing patio with loungers, a dining area and bbq. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn with well. Close to Mervent Forest, the Marais Poitevin or (Venise Verte), Xanton Lakeside Beach with slides, lifeguard, shallow area, diving pontoon, bar with snacks, picnic area and play area. 1 hour from coast and beaches and islands of both the South Vendee and Charente Maritime. 1 hour from Ile de Re.
