Sheep graze behind this charming old bergerie, in the grounds of your hospitable Dutch hosts' manor house. Great independence here: a rustic, open kitchen on the covered terrace, and a spacious suite with super-comfortable beds and big bathroom below. Find warm gentle colours, lofty rafters, traditional half-timbered walls and wooden floors; there are armchairs and a sofa by the wood-burning stove and you can order breakfast to be delivered. Visiting the Pays d'Auge and its wonderful and historical villages where you will find the most beautiful cottages and Calvados distilleries with their fresh sparkling cider, as well as Pont l'Evêque and Camembert, homes to the two respective famous cheeses. Farmers' markets, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville and return to the beautiful, peaceful gardens of the Bergerie. After a long journey you can order a sharing plate with cheese, fruit and charcuterie (24hrs notice) instead of running to a Restaurant.
