Chateau Chiens is a Multiple Pet Friendly Cottage in mid-West France

Chateau Chiens is a holiday cottage in mid-West France, designed for families who want to take their doggy family members on holiday with them. It has what you'd expect for a great family holiday, but with the added benefits for your dogs. The property consists of 2 double bedrooms one with en-suite, 1 twin bedroom, double sofa bed available in the spacious lounge, 2 bathrooms (1 downstairs) and 1 shower room, dining room, kitchen and dedicated dog room. There is also free Wifi so you can keep in touch with the world, and loads of English TV channels. We chose Chateau Garnier for our holiday cottage for a number of reasons: - you can get there in one day, so you don't need somewhere to stay overnight on the way, - it has a unique micro-climate that makes it the second sunniest part of France, second only to the Riviera, - it is in a relaxed and beautiful part of France, - a rural area, providing loads of lovely dog walks, together with things to do and see, for the rest of the family. A few of the features that make it ideal for doggy holidays are: Five foot high fencing around the whole acre plot, a large air-conditioned, fully tiled dog room with a purpose-built dog shower (for those muddier walks). Dogs are welcome in the whole house, we just ask you to keep them in the dog room if you want to go out and about without them. The local vet in Château-Garnier village, is less than 5 minutes drive. It is open weekdays and Saturday mornings and they also provide an out of hours service. The vets all speak some English, and they can do your passport checks and worming treatments between 5 days and 24 hours before your return journey. We accept an unlimited number of dogs (within reason), regardless of age, breed or size.
