Nid d'Amour is a luxury Gite for couples, in a peaceful setting, with lovely views over the Charente countryside. This charming property started life as a Bergerie, but has been lovingly renovated to provide a mix of old and new - from rustic beams and exposed stonework, to a modern bathroom complete with jetted shower, spa bath and mood lighting. The accommodation is all on one level, comprising of a cosy living area with a woodburner, a fully equipped kitchen (including a washing machine, oven, fridge, etc.), a tastefully decorated bedroom, and a luxurious modern bathroom. Outside there is a secluded private seating area where you can sit and relax with a glass of wine, and there is also have an above ground pool for you to cool off in during the Summer months. Situated in the small Hamlet of Noailles, Nid d'Amour is less than a five minute drive away from the local bar /tabac, and only 15 minutes away from the lovely picturesque town of Confolens, set on the River Vienne. There are lots of places to visit within a 30 minute drive - from the stunning Castle at Verteuil, to the Lakes of the Haute Charente. The nearest Airport is Limoges, which is approximately a 45 minute drive, and Poitiers, which is slightly further. Nid d'Amour is ideal for couples wanting to get away from it all, in a peaceful and relaxed setting.
