It retains many of its original features and charms, including oak beams,hardwood floors, and traditional wood burners. A sheltered garden provides that perfect tranquillity for eating, relaxing and barbecuing in the sun. The house is ideal for two families who want to share a great time together but would sometimes like a bit of privacy from one another.The small house hosts a double bedroom and the large house hosts a family room and a double along with the play room. Ideal for a quiet snooze! Maison Leloup is also available as a long term let for those who want to explore the area with the potential of buying a property f their own in France. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 Double; queen size bed and en-suite facilities; in attic room (full head height) Bedroom 2 Large family room; king size bed and single bed with original hardwood floors Bedroom 3 Double; double bed and fold up bed ideal for child Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, separate shower, WC and hand basin. Family shower room with shower cabinet, WC and hand basin on the second floor. WC on the ground floor with hand basin.All have heating and lots of hot water for everyone. Kitchen: The kitchen has a gas hob, electric fan oven, a dish washer, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, sharp knives, and new crockery and cutlery. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket for emergencies. Utility Room: The utility room / cloakroom is a spacious room as you enter the property and houses the freezer, and acts as a main cloakroom for shoes and coats, recycling, sun loungers and umbrellas etc. Living Rooms: The lounge has a large comfortable corner sofa, a second large sofa, a satellite television that has Free view channels from UK and a DVD player. It also has a cosy wood-burning fire for the cooler evenings. Flooring is the original tomette tiles. Other: The play room has a comfy chair, a small television hooked up to a DVD player with lots of DVDs. There is an abundance of books and games for rainy day activities. It can double for a fourth bedroom with a put me up bed for a child/teenager if required. Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service: Towels, linen provided. The house is cleaned prior to arrival and we ask guests to leave the house clean and tidy on departure. A cleaning service for £50 extra is provided on request. Logs can be supplied for a small charge. Outside The walled garden is a private space with enough room for sun loungers, barbecuing and picnicking. It is safe with a child gate preventing access to the steps that lead down into a lower section of the garden used primarily for access into the cellar and into the alley at the rear of the property. In the upper garden there is a picnic table and a gas barbecue, ideal for eating alfresco. Umbrellas are provided for sun shade. Spend the evenings sipping wine, smelling the sweet fragrances from the garden. Watch the bats in early evening and the satellites flying overhead. Make a candle lit grotto and enjoy the warm evening air. Parking is on street or in the village car park on the other side of the church. Note the house is opposite the church, so parking is less than 30 seconds from the front door. There is minimal concern for the safety and security of your vehicle. Bicycles can be stored in the cellar and motor bikes in the alley to the rear of the property. Important notes on accommodation Maison Leloup is clean, bright and well maintained with modern appliances combined with the traditional charm of an old French village house. There is a cellar for storage and a gated alley way for maximum three motor bikes. The house has fans in every bedroom which is adequate in the height of summer for a restful sleep. In winter there is a wonderful wood burner in both the kitchen and living room. In addition there is electric wall heaters in every bedroom and bathroom to keep the chill out.
