A beautiful, quiet holiday home located in a small commune, a short 5-minute drive from Royère-de-Vassivière and a 15-minute drive to the Lac de Vassivière. The location of this newly renovated French gîte is perfect for families, couples and groups friends looking for a quiet and cultural experience while embedding themselves in wonderful French nature. The house is set over three floors: the ground floor encapsulates a wonderful open-plan kitchen and lounge area, fitted with a traditional log fire to create a warm and cosy environment in the evenings; and direct access to walk straight out on to an outside seating area, the perfect spot to enjoy a spectacular sunset view over the surrounding hills. The first floor boasts two forward facing bedrooms, one a cute double and the other a comfortable twin room, both come with a wardrobe to be used by guests. The bathroom with a single shower is also located here, and the floor has access through a rear door. A delightful loft conversion with a double bed is spread across the second floor that enjoys the best views in the property, with two forward facing windows. The house has all the modern amenities available, with guests being able to enjoy live French and English television, Wi-Fi access, PlayStation 3 (also DVD & Blu-ray Player) and a selection of books to enjoy anytime of the day. Parking is available directly outside the property. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate customers with pets, and request that those who smoke, do so outside.
