The Lac de Sers property consists of an old Charente farmhouse completely renovated in 2014 located in the commune of Sers (16410) and built on a wooded area of 27 hectares and a spring lake of 2 hectares. Nestled in the heart of the Charente countryside, the property is available for rental and offers you the ideal setting for recharging your batteries and spending a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Fill up on energy while enjoying the warm and refined setting of the building, an exceptional environment and local culinary specialties. Erected on the border between Charente and Dordogne, near the Perigord regional natural park, the village is ideally placed and will allow you to discover: Less than 10 minutes away: swimming pool, golf, tree climbing, go-karting, cinema, paintball Less than 15 minutes: the fortified city of Angoulême and its TGV station (1h40 from Paris) which hosts the comic book festival (January), the legendary ramparts circuit (September), the French-speaking film festival (August) ), Anguienne valley (Natura 2000 classified site). The land with an area of 27 hectares offers multiple activities such as fishing, mushroom picking, walking, cycling, or donkey riding. A pétanque court, mountain bikes and a ping-pong table are available. You will share this green setting with Zac and Puce, the 2 magnificent horses and Alphonse and Hector, our 2 nice donkeys who all gallop freely. Alphonse, our brown donkey is regularly ridden and he will delight children with peaceful walks. A saddle is available to you. Horse owner, you also have the option of bringing your pet, which will be accommodated at no extra charge. You will be able to enjoy the Charente nature in the company of your mount. You will also have the possibility of walking around the magnificent private lake of 2 hectares located at the bottom of the house. The pedal boat at your disposal will allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the place. This body of water is a delight for fishermen, large or small, thanks to its great diversity of fish: bleak, roach, perch, carp, tench, pike. This spring lake, with an average depth of 2m, has 3 open shores allowing all no kill fishing techniques. Without seagrass or algae, it can be explored thanks to a boat and a pedal boat. More experienced fishermen will be able to quench their passion in the Charente river (2nd category) or the sublime Touvre river (1st category), both located 15/20 minutes from the house.
