The "Old Warburton Railway Cottage" is a very cosy 100 year old home, oozing with charming character in the heart of the Warburton village. Sitting by the welcoming fire in the lounge, reading a booking or playing a variety of board games provides a relaxing and fun time. There are views from the cottage and verandah overlooking the Yarra River and Swing Bridge, combined with the sounds of ducks quacking in conversation. Leave your car at the cottage and either walk or ride your bike along the Warburton Trail accessed by the backyard steps. Numerous walking tracks surround the village. Old Warburton Railway Cottage is only steps away from Warburton's cafes and shops. The cottage contains two queen sized beds, one set of bunks and a double bed sofa. There are three bedrooms, a comfortable sunroom and a lounge room. A well equipped kitchen with stove, microwave oven and dishwasher, pantry and fridge, laundry with washing machine and tub create the perfect self-contained getaway for a longer stay. Don't forget to bring your bikes along to explore the Warburton Rail Trail, there is secure bike storage available at the cottage. Area Attractions: The days can be spent walking or riding the bike along the Warburton Rail Trail, the River Walk or the O'Shannassy Aquaduct Trail. A visit to the Redwood Forest, La La Falls, Treetop Walk, Dolly Grey Park and the Ada Tree and Mount Donna Buang are a must for everyone to explore the beautiful surrounding area. In Warburton one can enjoy a round of golf, a game of tennis, some fishing or a dip in the Yarra River. The Cottage has a Strict No Pet Policy.
