THE AREA The Retreat is located in the gorgeous Clifton Hill precinct, an area that is bounded by the surrounding suburbs of Moorooka, Annerley and Tarragindi. Celebrity TV chef, Ben O'Donoghue's new restaurant BillyKart Kitchen is just a stroll down the hill. It features a casual yet sophisticated menu with seasonal local produce. Also in the area are local Italian, Vietnamese and Indian cafe's and restaurants. ACCESSIBILITY There is a bus stop, a 2 minute walk from the apartment with express buses and regular services to the city. The Retreat offers great access by car (10mins) or public transport (20min) to the CBD. There are excellent bus links to Southbank, QPAC,the GABBA and Tennis centres. Nearby hospitals are Mater, PA, The new Lady Cilento Children's Hospital and Greenslopes Private. Both Griffith and UQ (St Lucia Campus) are only a 10min. drive or easily accessed by bus.
