Ecological cottage in the wilderness behind Honfleur

In the middle of a partly wild field, in the middle of a protected natural park, we offer a small half-timbered house from the 17th century, redone with entirely ecological materials. Fireplace, three bedrooms (including a very small "cabin" style under the roof), sleeps 7 in 3 double beds and one single. Sheets, towels provided. Large terrace of 60 m2, new and quality bedding, a bathroom, toilet with a large walk-in shower downstairs and a bathroom, toilet with a nineteenth bath upstairs. Oak parquet or old tomettes. The house has been renovated with noble and breathable materials. The house is equipped with classic comfort with internet, washing machine, TV, dry inertia radiators, etc. However, for obvious ecological and health reasons, we did not want to install a dryer and microwave. The nature around the house is deliberately left with its wild grasses, nettles, flowers, trees, brambles and other wild plants which host countless animals of all species. Around the house, however, there is a large lawn area with swing, hammock, garden table, etc. Beyond a simple rental cottage, it is an invitation to come and relax in the middle of this two hectare field, calm, wild and bucolic. Around you, there are sheep, goats, chickens and many wild animals that can be observed at dawn, generally (deer, foxes, hares, owls, etc.). Binoculars and other small educational tools are at your disposal to discover nature. We suggest that our tenants make a compost and pick up fresh eggs from the chicken coop when the season allows. We are 13 km from Honfleur, halfway between the landing beaches and the cliffs of Etretat. The sea is a stone's throw away. The state of mind of the gîte is to be as close as possible to nature and its inhabitants. For the slightest question, the slightest little problem or other, we are 100 meters away, a little further in the field. The opportunity to meet, "chat" a little or not. We welcome our tenants all year round, whether in the heat of the heat wave or around a cozy log fire in winter. In the center of the village, one kilometer away, there is a small supermarket which stores bread, croissants, etc. We are labeled "Natural Park Value" (the first in Normandy) and "Gîte de France".
