Peaceful house on the lake for anglers, hikers and cyclists (DSL, SAT)

Our house is a traditional Swedish country house in solid timber. It has been completely renovated, keeping the old style from 1870. At the same time, it includes all modern comforts. The house was furnished by a family artist with typical Swedish furniture, handicrafts and art objects. Norregard has been family-owned for many generations. It is high and isolated in the Smaland highlands. The view over the endless forests is fantastic. The property has an area of 80,000 square meters, consisting of lonely forests and flowering meadows with many beautiful hiking trails. It is easy to find berries and mushrooms and the rich animal life, consisting of elk, deer, lynx, hare, capercaillie and black grouse, invites you to observe. On an idyllic path through magnificent forest you can walk (or drive) in 10 minutes to the secluded boat and bathing area with sandy beach at Lake Lyen.
