A traditional country cottage built in the 1700s by the Marquis d'Andigné for his closest confidante, having been part of the estate of the adjoining château until a few years ago. Our cottage is built of beautiful tuffeau stone, and is one of the very few such properties for rent in the Loire. The cottage is on two acres with original outbuildings including a stone barn and charming pigeonnier, which was used to send messages by carrier pigeon to and from the château. The adjoining château on 800ha is still the home of the Marquise today. Secluded driveway opening to private 2 acre parkland setting with the magnificent château as backdrop.
