Inside Concores Concores is a very comfortable holiday house with a nice garden and private heated pool. The grand piano (not tuned every year) and open fireplace in the lounge provide a lovely setting for summer or winter evenings. Garden games are available for guests' use, including badminton, boules and table tennis. Country style kitchen with modern range style cooker with double oven and six burners. Fridge, freezer and dishwasher with plenty of storage and eating area. Separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. 'L' shaped living and dining room with open log fireplace and grand piano for guests to relax and enjoy. Bedrooms (all on the first floor): Bedroom 1 large bedroom with double bed. Bedroom 2 large bedroom with double bed. Bedroom 3 large twin room with 2 single beds. Bedroom 4 large twin room with 2 single beds. Family bathroom on first floor. Second bathroom and separate toilet on the ground floor. Outside Being fairly close to the Dordogne and Lot rivers, swimming, canoeing, fishing or just lazing on one of the many river beaches are popular activities. There are also several lakes for swimming and where families can relax for the day. The chateaux of the region are striking and the many historical towns and markets of both the Dordogne and Lot are amongst France's finest. Local vineyards run wine tasting visits and tours and the Cahors wines are very popular (day trips possible with wine tasting!) Surroundings Situated in the Northern Lot, a 20 minute drive to the Dordogne river. The area offers gastronomic cuisine, fantastic scenery, chateaux, canoeing, caves, a number of golf courses, horse riding and much more. Concores is about 10 km from the beautiful town of Gourdon where you will find all the necessary amenities including many restaurants and the Saturday market. In the village Concores 2 km away is a tankstation, bakery, small supermarket and bar. Other beautiful towns are: Sarlat, Domme and Rocamadour.
