Typical Loire Valley house in tuff with private pool

This characterful tuff house, typical of the Loire region is surrounded by half a hectare of garden and small woods with many fruit trees. On the ground floor is a large L-shaped living room with fireplace. The decor is warm and comfortable. Around the fireplace you will find a modern sofa and armchairs designed by Jan des Bouvrie. The dining area can accommodate six people. A DVD player and stereo system with a selection of CDs are available. The kitchen is equipped with a large gas stove, an oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms each with a double bed. In one of the bedrooms, you will find an antique Louis XV style bed of 2.00 x 2.00 m. In the second bedroom you have a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00 m and a folding bed for one person. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. In the bathroom, which is also located on the upper floor, there is a bath with shower, a sink and the toilet. One of the upstairs bedrooms communicates with the upper terraces and the private swimming pool (6.5m x 3.5m, 1.6m deep) is attached. It can be used from the beginning of June to the end of September. Another south-facing terrace is located next to the living room. The house is built against the rock. This guarantees great privacy, but also means that the 5000 m² garden is spread over several levels. It is therefore less suitable as a playground for young children (under surveillance of course). Garden furniture is provided. Several vehicles can be parked within the property. Wi-Fi is free of charge. Wood for the fireplace is provided and included in the rental price. Two folding bikes are available. The house has electric heating with radiators in each room. A bakery and a supermarket are about +/- 1 km from the house in the village of Roiffé. The region is renowned for its wines, cheeses, excellent restaurants and the chateaux of the Loire. The Saint-Hilaire golf course is located nearby. The villages of Chinon, Loudon and Saumur are around 15 minutes by car.
