La Maison Bleu

La Maison Bleue is a good sized home suitable for families and friends with high chairs and travel cots available as well as a good selection of games and books. A welcoming home where you can all put down your things and instantly relax into your holiday, with safe lawn area for children to play in sight of the property. Located on the edge of the beautiful french village of Payzac in the Dordogne, there are a few shops/cafes within walking distance to explore (10 minutes), but far enough away that the property is quiet as a whisper! Quite important to note that the house next door is also available for rent, see our listing called La Porcherie (sleeps 4). So if you would like your family or friends to join you this would be the perfect place. This being said, the properties are located within a large enough area that you will not feel overlooked by one another and you have your own separate driveway. Both properties are within a 10 minutes drive to Chateau Durantie in Lanouaille, which is a popular wedding venue. There are superb cycling routes to explore from the doorstep, there is a golf course nearby, swimming and plenty of sightseeing! We provide bikes at the property free of charge, these are shared between each house so they come on a first come first served basis. There are also two paddling pools, lawn games and two BBQ's.
