This idyllic holiday home is situated on Bolmsö Island, close to Lake Bolmen and surrounded by countryside, which includes a neighbouring farm. Bolmsö is a wonderful location for a relaxing holiday; its history dates back to the Viking era and its pretty landscape is characterised by forests and fields. The comfortable, well-equipped house features two bedrooms and has been thoughtfully decorated with bright and modern furnishings. You will benefit from a wood burning stove, which provides comfort on cooler evenings. The home also offers use of a washing machine, which is located in a separate building. A pretty bathing spot, complete with sand and footbridge, is approximately 200m from the home. The lake is ideal for fishing and is home to plenty of perch and pike. A kayak or rowing boat can be rented from the home or, alternatively, a jetty for boats up to 25 feet in length can be rented nearby. There is a riding school not too far away, where you can book horse riding lessons or organise horse rides. Alternatively, discover the High Chaparral adventure park or enjoy a relaxing hike in the picturesque Store Mosse National Park. The Elk Park is a wonderful choice for children and adults alike. Golfing enthusiasts may wish to visit Lagan to play golf, whilst those in need of retail therapy may wish to head to Ljungby and Värnamo. Astrid Lindgrens World, which is situated in Vimmerby, is a great choice for families; here you can discover some of the classic children's stories and meet well loved characters such as Pippi Longstocking and Emil.
