The house is located near the water that gives great opportunities for bathing from own pier, as welll as great fishing opportuniteis from land or from boat. You can rent boat from house owner, it is mandatory that the boat driver is well known with boats and has a boat driver licence. Just outside the house there is a pond with several rare birds that are exciting to watch. For the kids there are several indoor and outdoor activities, such as board games and Playstation. For more activities it is a short distance to Gjeving, as well as only a ferry ride to Lyngør which is Norway`s best preserved village. The book town Tvedestrand is only a short drive away. Here you can find everything you need, as well as festivals, boat regatta and a outdoor aqua park. In wintertime it is possible to go skiing at Vegårshei Ski Center or the skating rink in Arendal. We can also recommend a visit to Nes Verk and the ironworks museum. Here you also find a golf course. A trip to Risør, the white town by Skagerak, is also recommended. It is also just a half-hour drive to Den Lille Dyrehage, “The Little Zoo” where you can visit Norway`s largest indoor rainforest.
