A great cabin of a good standard close to the Hardangerfjord. The cabin has several terraces which can offer a nice view towards Ljonesvågen. The cabin is well sheltered for the wind, and in the summer you can enjoy sunny late nights. Just below the cabin you will find a beautiful outdoor area with playground and a sandy beach. A great place for the family. There are also a number of marked hiking trails in the mountains in the area around Tørvikbygd. Only a short drive away is Tørvikbygd, Strandebarm and Norheimsund. Here you will find shops, restaurants, Hardanger Maritime Museum and the spectacular Steindalsfossen. In Børve you can play golf in beautiful surroundings. In winter Kvamskogen is worth a visit. Here you can find over 60 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails and a ski center with a number of slopes. The cross-country trails at Sjusete is also a popular area. During summer, Folgefonna Summer Ski Center can be visitied by ferry from Tørvikbygd to Jondal, and then a short drive from Jondal to the ski center. Day trips along the Hardangerfjord is recommended. Guided fjord sightseeing with possibilities for fishing by boat for 12 people can be booked well in advance of Hardanger Eventyr.
