It offers guests a truly unique holiday property, from the balustraded balcony over the living room to the large french windows which flood the house with light. There are also views of the terrace and the pool from the living room, where you can enjoy the morning sunshine over breakfast on the terrace. The study is a separate room off the large Lounge and the front Salon is open to the lobby and staircase with doors to dining room and lounge.There is a shower room off the entrance lobby on the ground floor. A few km to the west is the town of La Rochefoucauld (23 km) where you can see the fairytale like chateau overlooking the town. A little further are the towns of Angouleme (46 km) and Limoges (63 km) well known for its porcelain, are also worth a visit. The lakes of the Haute Charente are close by and numerous water activities are available: fishing, swimming, boating. Also there are the caves of Chazelles (30 km) to explore and the brandy houses of Cognac to the south (80 km).
