Just a short drive from the holiday house is Røldal city center with shops, café, tourist information and Røldal Stave Church which was built between 1200 and 1250. It is also a short drive by car to the starting point for Trolltunga and Buarbreen. Experience Norwegian Scenic Routes in Hardanger and Ryfylke with wonderful nature experiences on the road. In winter, the area is a paradise for skiing enthusiasts with cross-country ski trails nearby, and several opportunities for alpine skiing just a short drive away. NB!
