In the park you can enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool with children's pool, a playground with equipment and a football pitch. There is also a restaurant, a café / bar and a snack bar. You will also find a riding school near the park. What makes Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel unique is the beautiful recreational area Hitland with its brick kilns. Here you cycle and walk through the forest, the meadows with many bird species and peatlands. You will also discover elements from the past there; peat pits, wheels, watermills and drainage ditches from the old polder landscape. Discover the rich history of the brick kilns and visit the market. There is a walking event (Wandelvierdaagse) which is always one big party here. The spacious living room is furnished with a double sofa, two comfortable armchairs, a spacious dining area and a flat-screen TV. Ideal if you want to watch TV in the evening, have a nice dinner or play a game. The modern kitchen is fully equipped. Here you will find a fridge, gas stove, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and Senseo. Everything is within easy reach to prepare delicious meals. The bungalow has three bedrooms and can accommodate 6 people (four single beds and a bunk bed). Upon arrival, your beds will already be made for your convenience. The spacious bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and toilet. The large glass doors in the living room lead to the outdoor terrace with patio furniture for 6 people and an parasol to protect against the sun. Here you can relax with a good book and in the evening, if the weather permits, enjoy a delicious diner. Smoking is not permitted in this charming bungalow but you can park your car next to the bungalow without any worries, and of course it comes equipped with Wi-Fi.
