The airy rooms provide a cool shelter as temperatures rise in the summer sun. During the cooler months, when the nights start to draw in and the fresh morning air is crisp and filled with the scent of a French country autumn, you can stay cosy and warm behind the shuttered windows.This holiday cottage has room for four people, plus plenty of space for a cot or extra bed in the master bedroom. The accommodation comprises an open-plan living room with sitting, dining and kitchen areas, a downstairs cloakroom with a WC and a handbasin, a large double bedroom, a second bedroom furnished with twin beds, a shower room and a spacious family bathroom. Outside, the private patio has a garden table and chairs for six, a parasol and a gas-fired barbecue. All the windows have mosquito screens and a stair gate is available. Lounge area: the open-plan lounge area has two sofas, a coffee table, satellite TV with a DVD player and wi-fi/ethernet access to the internet. The bookcase has a selection of paperbacks, plus useful tourist brochures and details of local attractions, markets and restaurants. Board games are available to borrow. Dining area: the contemporary French-style dining area seats up to six people. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery are provided, including items for younger guests, highchairs and booster seats. Kitchen: we think you’ll find everything you could ever need to make your self-catering holiday a culinary success! There’s a 5-burner gas hob, an eye-level electric oven with a spit-roaster, an eye-level microwave/combination oven, a built-in dishwasher, a washing machine, a large fridge-freezer, a range of small appliances, a set of saucepans, Pyrex oven dishes and matching glasses, cutlery and crockery. Kitchen linen is provided, along with an initial supply of cleaning materials and dishwasher tablets. If you think we’ve forgotten anything, just let us know! Double bedroom: the double bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single futon, a wardrobe and bedside tables with lights. There is also ample space for a cot or an additional single bed. A ceiling fan keeps the room cool in the summer and heaters are provided for the chillier months. The family bathroom is adjacent. Linen is supplied and changed every week.
