Lovely holiday home as a part of Færsnes Gjestegård in Vegårshei in Indre Agder. It is nice furnished and inviting with enough space for everyone. Færsnes is an old farm with livestock that has traditions many hundreds of years back in time. The firehouse belongs to the old buildings on the farm and there are sheep in adjoining rooms and grazing areas right outside the porch, you can hear their bells on the premises. The cabin is close to Forbuvannet and not far from the lake Vegår, both with a lot of fish with fishing opportunities from land or boat. In the woods you can pick both berries and mushrooms, and maybe meet a moose? It is a lot of nice swimming areas and hiking trails in the area. It is a restaurant in "langhuset" at the farm, and possible to order shared tub or smoke sauna. The place is well suited for winter holiday with a lot of exiting winter activities. Vegårshei alpine center at Myra with ski lift and cross country skiing is not far away. Or you can try ice fishing or skating. Arendal with different arrangements, sightseeingboats and the chocolate factory Heimdal is also worth a visit. A 20 minutes drive to "Jernverksmuseet" at Nes where it also is a golf court. A trip to the book city Tvedestrand or the wooden house city Risør with nice streets, shops and restaurants is recommended. It is only half an hour drive to "Den lille Dyrehage" (Zoo) at Brokelandsheia with Norways largest rain forest. Same area as N34970.
