Right by the sea at Torvastad you will find this lovely holiday home. With a large terrace and dock area in front of the house, everything is set to enjoy a lovely and active holiday here. You will get a great view over Osneshavn and Hauskjevågen, and on the dock it is a fish gutting place and seabooth connected to the house. It is very good fishing in the area, so here you can try fishing in your holiday. It is also great hiking opportunities in varied terrain, and in the winter it is great to drive to Røldal and Svandalen for alpine or cross country skiing. At Torvastad you will find activities such as playground, zoo and gold court. Only a short drive to Avaldsnes with "Vikingarden" (Vikingfarm) and Avaldsnes church from 1200. The area has a rich history, especially from the viking age and 1800s when Karmøy was a central part of the herring fishing in Norway. The small towns Åkrahamn with Åkrasanden, voted for Norways nicest sandy beach, and the sailing ship town Skudeneshavn is worth a visit. Otherwise it is a short distance to Haugesund city with restaurants at the dock, cozy pedestrian zone and cultural arrangements.
