In the river Storelva you can fish for salmon. The children would appreachiate a visit to the zoo Den Lille Dyrehage in Brokelandsheia and the zoo-amusementpark Kristiansand Dyrepark outside the Kristiansand city centre. Tvedestrand offers an outdoor aqua-park in the city centre, cosy pedestrian zones and a charming harbour area with several restaurants. Here you can also watch several regattas and boat races where wooden boats, sailing boats and speed boats are competing. Not far away you find Staubø Kultursenter with i.a. art gallery, art crafts for sale, coffee shop, culture path and kayak rental.
