The perfect holiday cottage for couples, the Cidrerie is a surprisingly spacious 1 bedroomed cottage sleeping 2 to 3 people with its own private gardens situated in a small hamlet near to Villedieu les Poeles, lower Normandy France. The Cidrerie also has access to an above ground pool situated in shared gardens. The pool is heated* from mid July until the end of August and shared with the two other holiday cottages here at La Haute Hague. Inside the Cidrerie exposed ceiling beams and stone walls add to the cottage's charm. On the first floor, the original cross beam of the building has been left exposed and is now incorporated into the accommodation. Full of character, this property is an ideal base for house hunters and holidaymakers alike! The owners, Paul and Lisa live year round in the Farmhouse with their dog, Buster." A round, above ground pool is situated in the rear garden. The pool is shared with our two other holiday cottages and is heated during the summer high season. There is also a full size table tennis table available. 3 Golf clubs within 35 mins. Broadband Internet (wifi) available. La Haute Hague is situated in a calm hamlet just minutes from the beautiful town of Villedieu-les-Poeles which is famous for its locally-crafted copperware which is sold all over Europe. Visitors can wander through the bustling weekly market which sells fresh local produce and delicious regional specialities, or just relax with a coffee in one of the many pavement cafés in the attractive town centre. It is also only 2 minutes from the A84 giving instant access to many major towns and attractions. We are within easy distance of the D day landing beaches, Bayeux and its famous tapestry, the magnificent Mont St Michel and the pretty coastal town of Granville with its miles of golden sandy beaches. For the younger visitor there are plenty of attractions including the Zoo at Champrepus, Festyland in Caen, La Village Enchanté at Bellefontaine and L'Ange Michel at St Martin de Landelles. The Cidreries front door opens directly into the open plan living area and kitchen. The living area offers comfy seating, television with English TV, a DVD VCR and Hi-Fi whilst the kitchen comprises of washing machine, microwave, fridge, gas cooker and hob along with all necessary crockery and utensils. A round pine dining table provides seating for up to 3 people and a large woode armoire contains books, games and puzzles for your entertainment. Stairs lead up to the first floor landing area and to the bathroom which comprises of a bath, toilet and handbasin. The Cidreries bedroom is separated from the landing area by it's original oak crossbeam and is fournished with a double bed. A put me up bed can bee made available on the landing area for a 3rd person if required. All bedrooms are carpeted. Bedding and bed linen are included. Towels (hand towel and bathtowel) are not included but are available when prebooked at a cost of £4 per person per week. For small children, a Baby Pack including travel cot, high chair and stair gates can be hired at a small additional cost when requested in advance.
