3 Bedrooms (each sleeping 2 people) on a B&B basis and 3 Bathrooms in total Le Presbytère sits within the beautiful town of Puy L'Évêque. Roof-terraced rooms boast breathtaking views across the Lot river and Valley with vineyards stretching into the distance as far as the eye can see. Pleasure boat trips and kayak hire are available on the riverbank in season. Local amenities are within walking distance and the pretty medieval village leads you down to the river where you can hire boats or do a little fishing! Nearby towns offer picturesque village squares and regular market days. Whether your trip is in the height of summer or during the winter, there's often a festival or concert being held locally.Guitar, Art Jazz and Country Music festivals to name but a few. The area is renowned for exhibiting its culture via these 'fête's' and the ' Puy L'Évêveque' fête is a fabulous 4 day extravaganza of music, wine, food and other activities culminating in a world class fireworks display. This all takes place around the beginning of August. The landscape provides great cycling opportunities for both road and mountain bikers with a multitude of off road tracks covering hills and forest and due to the distinct lack of traffic & beautiful views of the local chateaus road biking is a real pleasure. So whether you are a regular cyclist or just fancy a relaxing ride along the converted railway there are beautiful views around every corner. Le Presbytère stands on the edge of town and across the road from the beautifully preserved medieval church of Saint Saviour which it had a working relationship with at one time as the home of the church curate. As it has only recently been acquired by us we are currently still in the process of updating the bathroom facilities, this is reflected in the price and will not be continued during the summer months. Our newly decorated bedrooms are aimed to give you a restful nights sleep and we use luxury English bed linen to help with this. We hope to make your stay with us a relaxing one and will offer an ample continental breakfast with tea and coffee in the dining room. As your hosts we will be available most of the of the time and want to personalise your stay as best we can, by offering samples of the local wine on arrival, also for your convenience there is access to a kitchen with kettle and a microwave. Tea and coffee facilities are available in all rooms. We have three rooms each sleeping two people. Prices are per room per night. Two rooms have king size beds and both have their own bathrooms and large terrace area and there is one double room with private bathroom across the hall and access to the terrace but not straight out of the room.
