5 Star on a budget! Sharing our lovely home is wonderful. Our house sits in a quiet treed court minutes walk from 3 beautiful lakes; mountain views, wetlands birds and the Yarra Glen township. Mornings the birds are singing and evenings the crickets lull you off to sleep. Our home has a soothing ambiance. The guest bedrooms are very lovely with brand new furniture and luxurious bedding. Room 2 (3 guests). There’s an authentic looking wood flame fire (gas) for warmth and ambiance as well as two split systems. Close to all of the places of interest in the Yarra Valley. The Yarra River flows through Yarra Glen just behind the nearby lakes and every day sees hot air balloons floated past. Just a short walk to the end of the street has you at three beautiful lakes, that provide a sanctuary for wetland birds and the most beautiful sight of the mountain range that you can image. Evenings provide beautiful sunsets lakeside. The lakes are in the Yarra Glen township where you will find supermarkets, cafes and many restaurants. Also the Yarra Glen Grand Hotel. All WITHIN walking distance from home. Within 700mtrs from my place is the super IGA (open late) and the Yarra Glen Grand Hotel. The township is a walk away, no driving required! The Valley boasts more than 60 wineries. WITHIN 10 minutes is Domaine Chandon, Levantine Hill Estate (Top International Wine Award 2018 for Syrah), Yarrawood Estate, Punt Road, St Hubert's, Meletos, Napoleons Cider House, De Bortoli, Balgownie, Rochford, Stones, Helen and Joeys (all 5-10mins drive). I am 5 minutes from Yering Station or Fergusson's where Global Ballooning begin their flights. Yering Estate, The Zonzo Estate and Tarra Warra is 3 mins drive from here. We are literally within walking distance of the Racecourse. 5 minutes drive from the Chocolaterie or Yarra Valley Dairy. 8 minutes from Healesville too. The Healesville Sanctuary is less than 15 minutes. Everything is within 15 minutes from the home. This home is on a flat block with no stairs. There is a sitting area in both the front and back yards. This is a private room in our home. Bedroom 2 (sleeps 3) is a private room with a large bunk bed, that has a double bed below with a single on top. With luxurious bedding. The guests’ bathroom has a bathtub as well as a shower. The toilet is separate from the bathroom (shared when other guest's are booked in). We have our own bathroom and toilet. We happily share the remainder of the home and know you will feel welcomed joining us (as we live in the Yarra Valley and are usually out enjoying ourselves interaction at home is minimal). For families I have toys, a stroller, highchair, children's plate/bowl and cup. You may require a porta cot for infants. Parking is available in the driveway for a vehicle. It is a quiet street so no problems with parking. I also have a large garage for items such as suitcases, golf clubs, bicycles etc to be stored in. We will be home to greet you whenever possible. At times we may interact when cooking and relaxing in shared spaces (2 loungerooms). Importantly, as this is our home, we are happy to interact as you feel comfortable, allowing for mutual respect for privacy when we are all home, and also are happy to provide tips/information as needed. Our biggest priority is for you to enjoy yourself and be comfortable.
