This holiday apartment complex near Doorn will pleasantly surprise you! It is an attractive family park with a special emphasis on families with small children, who by all means will feel comfortable and at ease here. An ideal operating base from which to take a breather or, on the contrary, to have an active and adventurous holiday. Take time to enjoy the charming countryside around Doorn, particularly the Utrecht Hill range. You will be stunned by the peace and quiet, the wide-open space and the hospitality of this region. During summer months an outdoor swimming pool is at your disposal. The water is heated to approximately 25 degrees. Toddlers will have loads of fun in the small paddling pool with tiny slide and sprayers, as well as on the playground. There is a sunbathing area by the pool with chaise lounges and a view of the pool. Other facilities include an all-weather tennis court, lawn bowling course, sports field, bicycle rental, wireless Internet via Hotspot, playground, launderette and table tennis. During the peak season (July to August inclusive) the recreation team is at work. This team offers an amusing and varied program which includes, but is not limited to: handcrafts, sports competitions, playback shows, theatre, lantern processions, bingo and an outdoor action camp. This apartment on the ground floor can accommodate a maximum of 2 persons. The total (living) space is approx. 45 m². The open kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner stove, fridge, coffeemaker and electric kettle. There is a dining table and chairs across from the kitchen. The accommodation has one bedroom which is furnished with two single beds. The apartment has a bathroom with a bathtub, shower and sink. The beds have comforters. There is also a furnished balcony in this apartment. Thanks to the central location of the holiday park, you will not need to spend much time traveling in order to reach various places of interest. The tranquility of the national park of “Utrechtse Heuvelrug” (the Utrecht Hill Range) or the hustle and bustle of the towns – it's all close at hand! Discover at your own pace the magnificent scenery of the national park where you can walk or cycle for hours. The national park of “Utrechtse Heuvelrug”  has a total of 6000 hectares and comprises a variety of landscapes. Besides the easily recognizable lateral moraine (glacier deposit), the moors, drifting sands and wastelands are also part and parcel of the national park. In addition, there are plenty of animal inhabitants: deer, badger, squirrel, Mustelidae (weasel/polecat) and more than 100 bird species. The woods and rural areas are ideal for hikers. For the lesser-able visitors there is a wheelchair path in the Cape Woods (“Kaapse Bossen”) by St. Helen Hill near Doorn. The national park also has a lot of cultural history to offer. There is plenty to see including many country houses and castles, protected villages and towns (Amerongen, Driebergen-Rijssenburg, Rhenen and Zeist), the countryside and parks of the Lustwarande convent, tobacco barns and sheep pens. You can visit the little historic town of Wijk Bij Duurstede or one of the castles in the neighborhood, such as Castle “Huis Doorn” or Castle Amerongen. Shopping can be done in Veenendaal, Amersfoort or Zeist and enjoyable Lake “Henschotermeer” is within biking distance of the park. Also the Aviation Museum in Soesterberg and the Utrecht Cathedral Tower are well worth a visit. Of course, you can also spend the day with your kids at the Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen or the zoo in Amersfoort.  The reception of the park will contact you after booking in order to transfer the additional costs in advance so that you can check in faster.- Upon arrival/on spot, you must complete an authorization form for the deposit.- Pets are not allowed. - Longterm rent on request, reservations for employees not allowed. - Parking on the central parking lot next to the building. - Consumption costs (gas/water/electricity) included.  - Use of all weather tenniscourt free of charge. - Bicycles for rent, prices on request at the reception. - Open air swimming pool opened in the summer months (depending on the weather and park occupation. - Free wifi hotspots on site.
