The Space: The house offers a private vacation rental apartment for up to 6 persons, which is always popular with our guests, especially because of the cosy Zirbenstube. You enjoy your private space inkluding a kitchen and a shared bathroom. Guest Access: Dear guests! Welcome to the Nedererhof. We are happy to place our house at your disposal for the time of your vacation in Schmirn and hope that you will spend a wonderful time here. But we also ask you to treat the house with care and would like to draw your attention to some important points: - Our tap water is drinking water of highest mountain water quality and can be drunk from the tap. - The internet (Gast Zugang Nedererhof) is freely accessible for all our guests. - We attach great importance to waste separation. There are several buckets under the sink. Under the stairs in the entrance area there are additional containers for residual waste, plastic, glass and paper/cardboard/cardboard. - The house is heated with biomass. For the sake of our environment, please take care to keep the energy consumption as low as possible. - Please note that the agricultural machinery and buildings (stable and barn) are private property. In case of misuse or possible accidents the guest is liable. - Please make sure to always close or tilt the windows and balcony doors when leaving the house. Should this not be the case, wind gusts can open the doors and windows and cause damage. - Smoking is not allowed in the whole house! - The temperature in all rooms is regulated by thermostats next to the door. - Please dry gloves and other laundry on the heated ski and washroom provided for this purpose. - Please use the wooden ladder in the 4-bed room for the upper beds. - Please note that between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. there is a night's rest. The Neighborhood: The Schmirntal lies in the middle of the mountain landscape of the Tuxer Alps with the striking Olperer in the southeast. Together with St. Jodok and the Vals Valley, the Schmirntal has been part of the elite circle of Austrian mountaineering villages since 2012. In the middle of this impressive mountain world you will find our traditional vacation home Nedererhof. Ideal for a vacation with the whole family, you will live far away from traffic noise and everyday stress. Getting Around: Summer: Mountain summer in Schmirn means to enjoy the untouched nature in the beautiful mountain valleys and the culture of the mountaineering village. Enjoy an active holiday in the mountains around the Brennerberge on the Zillertal main ridge - here with us, nature lovers will find the unique peace and quiet on the mountain until late in autumn. Hike and Fly pilots can land around the accommodation (rather demanding but lonely flying area). Vacations in the snow are above all active and varied - whether skiing or hiking off the slopes. Our many touring areas are popular with ski tourers and snowshoe hikers. Tobogganing is possible on the natural toboggan run from the Kalten Herberge. For cross-country skiers there is a round track in Toldern. The snow conditions are usually good until spring. For piste lovers, the Bergeralm ski area is only a 15-minute drive away. It is characterized by about 30 km of slopes up to an altitude of 2,200 m. Here you can ski without waiting times and crowded slopes. Discover our variety during your winter vacation in the snow! After you complete the booking, you will need to verify your identity through Chekin by providing personal data and an official ID.
