Øvre Årdal is the entrance to Jotunheimen National Park with fantastic nature areas. A day trip to Galdhøpiggen, which is Norway’s highest mountain peak 2469 meters above sea level, is recommended. In the city center of Øvre Årdal there is a public water park that is child-friendly. You will find several shops and restaurants nearby if you want to spend an evening out with a better dinner.
