The Rocky Bay part of Waiheke is an enclave of original Waihekeans with lots of bush and bird song and is well off the beaten track. From the hillside dress circle position, the house looks directly out over Omiha (Kauaroa) Bay with Koi Island in the middle, Whakanewha Bay to the left and Kauakarau Bay to the right. While the bays live up to their name of being ‘rocky’ when the tide is in, they provide some of the most beautiful, calm bathing on the entire island. Everyone staying here will have a view second to none. The master bedroom comes complete with ensuite and sea views. The second bedroom also boasts ocean views while the third bedroom overlooks the lush garden. Comfortably furnished, there are many spaces to gather and relax. Curl up on the window seat and take in the views or lie back on the wide, comfortable sofas for an afternoon siesta. The indoor dining table seats eight and there is also a full outdoor dinner seating as well as chairs for lounging in. Even washing dishes will never be a chore with the vista provided. We can guarantee the wide screen TV won’t get a look-in during your stay.
