El Cercón is a cozy Rural House located in the small and picturesque town of Magacela (Badajoz) One of the towns with more history and heritage of La Serena (Extremadura region, candidate to be declared 'Cultural Landscape' by UNESCO) The numerous prehistoric remains that this municipality possesses (dolmen, cave paintings, stela from the late bronze age.) make it a perfect destination to enjoy discovering the mysteries of the past. In addition, Magacela has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest since 1,994, Although at first the population settled within its impressive fortress and around it, its inhabitants (especially dedicated to agricultural and livestock work) were looking for more comfortable areas to store their tools or shelter their animals. What at the beginning were only "cercones" dedicated to this end, ended up being the true homes of the people of Malaga, for the comfort of their access and the tranquility of the area, which, at the moment still retains these qualities, so longed for by visitors.
