Tucked away on the hill above Onetangi Beach, Woodlands Retreat offers the perfect sanctuary for your Waiheke holiday. A two-minute drive to the golden sands of Onetangi Beach and the famous Charlie’s beach bar, Woodlands has all that you need for your getaway. Feel relaxed the moment you enter this beautifully maintained cottage with its well-equipped designer kitchen and open plan dining area and lounge. The spacious and light-filled main bedroom boasts a queen bed and plenty of cupboard space while the second bedroom has two king singles – ideal for the kids. The large bathroom has a shower and toilet and the second toilet has a small wash basin. Two comfy couches and an armchair provide a great space to read, relax and chat or watch the flat screen TV with Sky. Open the sliding doors onto the private outdoor deck tailor made for drinks and dining with its outdoor setting for six. And not forgetting the centre-piece of the back garden – the pink-doored glorious little “Love Shack” sleep-out with a queen bed. This detached sleep out contains the 3rd bedroom. While equipped with cosy lighting, please note there is no electricity in the Love Shack. If wineries are on the agenda, then you are spoiled for choice. Awaroa Organic Winery is just under a kilometre further up the road and in the other direction is Stonyridge Vineyard, Te Motu Vineyard, Tantalus, Wild on Waiheke and Casita Miro. For dining, Onetangi has three restaurants and a beach store along with a food cart, fish and chip shop and bottle shop adjacent to the service station. There is an option to accommodate an extra guest inside for an additional fee.
