Situated in a small hamlet halfway between Canterbury and Dover, you can easily visit the 2 most popular attractions in east Kent (Canterbury Cathedral & Dover Castle), or simply just enjoy the local surroundings with relaxing walks in the countryside or heading to the local pub. The Space: The ground floor has a joint living room and dining room as well as a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room and a separate toilet room. The first floor is just the bedroom which is also open plan. There is also a small courtyard garden to the rear. Guest Access: Chapel Cottage is a self check in property and you have full access to the property. The property also has free WI-FI throughout. The Neighborhood: Woolage Green is a small hamlet, situated about 7 miles (11 km) south-east of Canterbury, Kent, England, 1 mile to the east of the A2 road. Together with Womenswold and Woolage Village, it forms Womenswold parish. Originally a downland farming community, Woolage Green consists of some 36 dwellings including one pub, the Two Sawyers. The village was heavily wooded until the destruction of Woolwich Wood in the 1960s, to make way for farmland. Getting Around: Canterbury and Dover are both approximately 20 minutes away by car. The nearest public transport link is Shepherdswell train station which is about 1.5 miles away from the property. Other Things to Note: Chapel Cottage is dog friendly but due to the size, can only accept 1 dog per stay. Interaction with Guests: Guests are able to self check in via a lockbox, of which the information will be sent 5 days prior to arrival
