The island is car-free with frequent ferry service to the entertainment city of Gothenburg. With "bathrobe distance" to salty baths, you can start the day with a dip and then sit on the patio and enjoy a good breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. The cottage is on a level with stairs to sunken living room with wood burning stove and modern sofa bed. In this part there is also the main bedroom with double bed. From the living room you have exit to the front patio. The house also houses a modern kitchen, two smaller bedrooms with single beds and fresh fully tiled bathroom, divided by laundry room and sauna. At the back of the house there is another terrace with a sheltered location where you can follow the path of the sun in the sky. Asperö is a living archipelago island in the southern part of the Gothenburg archipelago with approximately 460 residents. The island is closest to Saltholmen where the ferry departs and the crossing takes only about 10 minutes. The island has nice sun and bathing cliffs and to the bathing area Kvistevik you can walk in 10 minutes. The island has excellent exercise trails and from the valen view mountain you have a radiant view of the Port of Gothenburg. If you want an active holiday, there is a beach volleyball court and kayak rental on the island. Asperö has a well-stocked country store and during the summer a kiosk in the marina. Don't miss a visit to the island's hometown museum with unique material from life on Asperö from the 18th-20th century. If you want to eat in a restaurant, you can go to Gothenburg or to the neighboring island of Brännö, which has both an inn and a restaurant in the harbour.
