Beautiful Property, Wifi, In Lassay Les Chateaux!!

Our spacious, stylish and romantic rustic Victorian house, is set out over three floors which we have furnished with comfort and style in mind, with most bed linens and carpets from Zara's.(i.e more than your average holiday home!) The imposing house has an abundance of historical French charm about it. It's set on a quiet lane in the centre of the small village of Niort La Fontaine, a village with an extremely friendly population. It is a very peaceful and rejuvenating place to stay, great for kids, with a village play area and a nice heated pool in Lassay Les Chateaux. Jo, the owner, is an artist and has filled the house with her original oil paintings. There is a well equipped kitchen on the ground floor, with a wonderful large dining room next to it, where the large new gas cooker and work station are situated, and a large solid oak extendable dining table and chairs for that perfect kitchen diner experience. The kitchen area itself has fitted units, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, new large fridge freezer, smoothie and cappuccino maker, very good quality crockery and pots and pans, iron and board, sonic cooker, and is beautifully decorated in toxic free paint, as is the rest of the property. The huge living room next door has very comfortable seating, a cosy multi fuel wood burner, a Samsung flatscreen TV with 160 channels on the dedicated TV box, and a high speed internet router. So wifi in every room:-) Up the beautiful carved wooden stair case known as the "Mayenne", are the vast master bedroom with a huge ensuite bathroom, toilet and WC. The second double beautiful bedroom with its staggering countryside views, through a period picture window which is also on the first floor. Up a few more stairs you will find the last spacious, beautifully beamed bedroom with a large ensuite shower room with sink and WC. On the Ground floor is a large entrance hall for coats, bikes and outdoor furniture. The huge, enclosed walled orchard garden, is a perfect place for children to play in. It has an outdoor dining table and six chairs, a bbq pit and a new lounging suite for those relaxing sunny days and BBQS, it is wonderfully private. The house is professionally cleaned and beds made with designer sheets before your arrival, this is included in your rental fee. Towels and tea towels not provided. The night skies are packed with stars and swooping bats and the moon is something else, an evening stroll around the village is a must! Especially when they switch off all the village lights at 11pm. The house itself has great countryside views and is on a very quiet lane, it's especially suited for couples or families with older children. There is a very good fine dining restaurant a mile from the house, which is both brilliant value and friendly. The climate is warmer than in southern England and can reach 40 degrees in the summer. The house is also a great base for visiting Paris which is only 2.5 hrs drive away, the Emerald coast at 1.5 hrs where you can visit the amazing Mont Saint Michelle, or the incredible fortified town of St Malo. Domfront is a lovely medieval town half an hours drive away and well worth a visit. Plus Lavall and Alencon which a both a MUST see.
