A scenic route (the 71) takes you from Tournus to the historic town of Cluny: a 30 km drive through beautiful landscapes, vineyards, charming villages and Romanesque churches (an app has been created to guide you). From the house, there are many treks within walking distance. 18 km away, swimming in Laives Lake. 10 km away near Cuisery: kayaks and motor boats for hire: boating on the Seille, swimming. Louhans (36 minutes away) holds a live poultry farmers market every Monday. Macon and Chalon-sur-Saône are a 30 minutes drive.
