The popular bathing area Välenbadet with sandy beach, bathing piers, diving tower and summer restaurant is 2 km drive from the torpet, you can also take the walking/cycling path that runs across the fields. There are also more swimming lakes in the area. If you want a more private bathing lake with beach and bathing jetty, there is a nice one, 2 km into the forest. Torpet has a living room with sofa, armchair, rocking chair, TV and wood burning stove. The kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and freezer. There is also a wood stove in the kitchen. It features a dining table, kitchen sofa and chairs. On the lower floor there is also a bedroom with 2 beds. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower. Upstairs there is a really cozy double bedroom, where you sleep under the ceiling with beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling. A sofa bed is also available, so you can sleep 5 people in the cottage. 2 extra beds are available, so you can stay 6 people in the croft, you can have them upstairs above the stairs if you wish. Right behind the house there are exercise trail/ electric light trails in the lovely nature. Torpet is located in Fagerhult which is a small community, 1200m from the nearest shop. Larger business is located in Högsby 2.5mil away Fagerhult is well placed with 7.5 miles to Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren's World, 7mil to Växjö and Kalmar and 80 km to the sun and the islands of the winds Öland. If you want to explore the coast, you have Oskarshamn 60 km away. The Kingdom of Kosta Boda and Kleva Mine are also 40 miles away. 40 km to Uppvidinge Golf Club.
