In 2005, this cottage was built as a guest cottage, with large airy rooms and with a terrace overlooking the småland pastures. For those who dream of a summer taken from an Astrid Lindgren saga, you step right into the Småland agricultural area and can experience it to the fullest. Not least when you only have 30km away has Astrid Lindgren's World. You also have Astrid Lindgrensleden nearby as it starts about 30km west of the cottage and goes past a little over 10km south of and ends in Mariannelund 13 km east of the cottage. Astrid Lindgrenleden is a cycling trail of a total of 52km and takes you through beautiful nature and cultural landscapes with swimming opportunities. The trail's page also advises to visit Ljusboden and Engströmsgården in Hult and finish with Karamellkokeriet in Mariannelund. The cottage is located on the owners' farm but the large terrace is secluded and provides privacy when staying on the cottage patio. Sit here and barbecue after a day filled with discovering the surroundings or wake up and enjoy a lovely breakfast with a cozy view of the countryside. The cottage consists of two large bedrooms, one with a 140cm bed in and one with a double bed. There is a large fresh tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine. The kitchen and living room are connected and provide large areas to socialize on that then lead on out to the patio. In the living room, the sofa is a sofa bed if you want to be more in this house, the spaciousness of which would easily be enough for 6 people. Upon request, it can also be arranged with both a crib and junior bed. In the yard there is also a wood-burning sauna included in the rent. Only 2 km away is Ingatorpsjön and the village of Ingatorp, where there is a small shop and a simpler restaurant. But the owners recommend going to Hjältevad about 5km away both to shop and for the nice bathing place that is there. There are plenty of lakes in the area with very cozy bathing areas as well as good fishing waters for those who like to fish. If you choose instead to visit this cottage in winter, you only have 1.6km to Valbacken Alpina ski slope. Please look at Valabacken's own website to see opening hours for the ski slope.
