Along the estuary of the Gironde, near the beaches of Meschers and Royan this old fisherman's cottage is set in the lively village of Mortagne. The property has a courtyard with a large barbecue in a fireplace and a lovely enclosed patio, and you can see the estuary from the top floor main bedroom. With an attractive blue and white decor, this ecological gîte is a good value holiday, 2 minutes' walk from the harbour. A bike riding, walking and horse riding paradise, it is only a 20-minute drive from the sandy beaches of Royan. Visit the zoo of La Palmyre north of Royan as well as the pretty town of Talmont with a Roman church and views over the estuary. Travel cot available on resquest. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 10.00 per person or bring their own.
